Kwon Kyoung Ja, director of NeuroVenti, lectures at the 2024 Spring Conference of the Korean Association of Applied Drugs
Under the theme of "Biomedical Strategy for Promoting Health in Aging Society," Kwon Kyoung Ja, director of NeuroVenti, was invited as a presenter to the 2024 Spring Conference of the Korean Society of Applied Drugs held at Suwon Convention Center from April 4 to 5, 2024, and gave a lecture on "Preclinical Research on New Drug Candidates for Central Nervous System: Efficiency, MoA and PoC."
The conference, jointly organized by the Korea Association of Applied Drugs, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, the Korea Institute of Food and Drug Safety, the GRRC of Ajou University, the MRC of Sookmyung Women's University, and the MRC of Dongguk University, consists of a total of six sessions, including a special session on the theme of "drug abuse and regulatory pharmacology."
In addition, along with the recent status of elderly health care to realize an aging healthy society, academic presentations have been made on research results to respond to aging society, including new drug targets and approaches to treat central nervous system diseases, anti-aging strategies for muscle health in old age, and cancer prevention.
In particular, Dr. Lisa Montegia of the Vanderbilt Brain Research Institute in the United States, an authority in the field of psychiatry, gave a lecture on the theme of "The Mechanism of Fast Antidepressant Action," and Jeong Yi-sook, president of the Korean Association of Applied Drugs, said, "In this conference, we have invited top experts in the fields of brain, mental and musculoskeletal health and respiratory/skin and inflammation research to share the latest knowledge for the realization of a healthy aging society."
