Shin Chan-young, CEO, "Challenge to develop the world's first autism spectrum disorder treatment"

Neuroventi, which is developing treatments for brain development disorders such as autism spectrum disorder and fragile X syndrome, participated in the 3rd 'LOVE, ONE, AUTISM' race held for 9 days from the 22nd to the 30th of last month. All employees participated.

The 'Love, Hana, Autism' race is a non-face-to-face race that runs 4.2 km in commemoration of World Autism Day (April 2), a campaign hosted by the Autism Love Association and sponsored by Hana Bank. Company executives and employees participated in the 4.2km virtual race in sympathy with the purpose of the marathon to increase understanding of autism spectrum disorder and create a culture that respects differences.

Shin Chan-young, CEO of Neuroventi, said on the 4th, "We will take a powerful step toward developing the world's first treatment for autism spectrum disorder in order to create a society where people live together." Neuroventi aims to apply for a phase 2 clinical trial for autism spectrum disorder treatment in the second half of 2023, and on the 24th of last month, the treatment for fragile X syndrome was designated as an orphan drug by the US FDA.
